Research International in Japan becomes part of Japan Kantar Research

Kantar announced today that all of its Japanese businesses – Research International, Millward Brown, ICM/Added Value and Lightspeed Research – are being merged into a single business, Japan Kantar Research (JKR). The new business will be one of Japan’s largest market research and insights companies and will offer clients a complete and unique portfolio of solutions. Importantly, it will be focused more than ever on the needs of local clients – Japanese and multinational.
The merged business is intended to increase the effectiveness of our work for clients and the attractiveness of our employee career path. The decision was taken with the specific and unique Japanese market in mind, and Kantar has no plans to replicate this approach beyond Japan.
