The acquisition integrates Cymfony’s expertise in tracking and analysing the intersection of traditional and social media, such as blogs and social networks, with TNS MI’s current extensive suite of advertising intelligence products. Blogs are also having a significant impact on traditional media, with over 50% of journalists reading blogs for story ideas, according to a study conducted by the Columbia University School of Journalism.
