Andrea Douglas Named New Executive Director For Nielsen PDF Print E-mail

June 27, 2007, KUALA LUMPUR: The Nielsen Company today announced the
appointment of Andrea Douglas to the position of Executive Director, Nielsen Media
Research, The Nielsen Company, Malaysia.

In her new role, Ms Douglas will spearhead the Company’s Advertising Expenditure
Measurement, Print, Radio and Customized Media Research businesses in Malaysia. Ms
Douglas will report to Richard Basil-Jones, Managing Director, Nielsen Media Research
Asia Pacific, based in Australia.
“Andrea brings to Malaysia over 20 years’ experience in market research. She is a
veteran of the industry, principally with ACNielsen, where in the past she has headed up
two very successful divisions within our Customized Research unit,” said Mr. Basil Jones.

Andrea Douglas takes over from Rebecca Tan, who for the past 18 months has been
overseeing Nielsen’s media businesses in both Malaysia and Singapore and will now
focus on the company’s media business in Singapore.
