Sydney, 1st August 2007. Global market research leader Millward Brown today announces the appointment of Ben Dixon as Managing Director of its Australian business, effective 3rd September.
A seasoned researcher with a broad range of skills, Dixon is currently Executive Director of the FMCG business at The Nielsen Company. This includes customised solutions, Homescan and the Retail Scan business. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of Nielsen’s Customised business in Australia. During his nine years with the company, he also set up, in 2001, ACNielsen Online, an early entrant to the online research business in Australia and one that led the market in several areas. Before joining Nielsen, Dixon worked for MRA as General Manager of the business.
Commenting on the appointment, Travyn Rhall CEO of Millward Brown Africa Asia Pacific said: “Ben’s background in market research and in-depth knowledge of the Australian market will help us further develop business solutions for our Australian clients.
