Ex-Haymarket & Opinion Matters Director Gallacher to Grow SKOPOS Marketing Consulting Business
On the back of an exceptional few years (year on year growth for the group in the region of 75%), SKOPOS market insight, the UK’s progressive research company, has hired Andy Gallacher as Head of Insight Consulting - to continue the company’s rapid growth and add new areas of expertise to the senior management team.
Andy joins SKOPOS market insight in September from Opinion Matters/Tickbox, the Media, Digital & Communications research consultancy where he has been Director of Client Services & Consulting since 2004….
Of significance has been Andy’s role in directing esteemed communications research projects such as Vodafone’s Working Nation……..
Over the last few years, Andy has overseen the dramatic growth of Tickbox.net and launched Opinion Matters – the agency that specialises in creating ground breaking communications-led studies, designed to take ownership of issues and position brands as thought leaders in their fields. Prior to Tickbox/Opinion Matters Andy managed Sales/Advertising/Events/Publishing Teams across a series of leading business magazines for publishing giant Haymarket; including PR Week, Campaign & Revolution - both in the UK and US markets.
Andy, originally an English Lit graduate from Manchester University, will be joining the team in early September 2007 where he will be instrumental to boosting the SKOPOS client offering - and developing new areas of business for the agency; and ultimately increasing the number of impressed and satisfied clients that SKOPOS has.
Darren Noyce, Founder and Managing Director of SKOPOS MI&C Ltd. says "Andy’s unique skills and hands-on experience in marketing and consulting mark him out as an exceptional hire for SKOPOS. Not only can he recommend the right method, he can ensure its actionability and practicality. Add to that his experience in existing and new sectors to SKOPOS, and his senior management experience, and we really had to make him a good offer!”
Andy says "joining SKOPOS is an exciting prospect for me - and represents a step change in my research career. I have learnt a great deal in recent years and have worked on some of the highest profile communications research projects in the business - I hope that my background in communications led research will add a fresh angle to the areas of specialism that SKOPOS already excels in. I am looking forward to helping Darren and the team of Directors to grow the business while offering the very best in consultancy and client service".
