This autumn has seen the 250th organisation sign up to the MRS Company Partner Service – highlighting once again the massive impact that it has had on the research industry, since its introduction two years ago.
Launched in April 2005 in response to industry demand, the MRS Company Partner Service heralded a significant sea-change, as organisations were given the opportunity to sign up to the MRS Code of Conduct and commit to corporate self-regulation.
The Service has gone from strength to strength, with a steady stream of partners both agency and client-side choosing to join what has become the research sector’s unified voice for quality and standards.
Simon Lidington, MRS Chairman, comments: “It is rewarding to see that so many research businesses – from small niche consultancies to global agencies – have chosen to demonstrate their commitment to supporting the MRS core values of professionalism, research excellence, and business effectiveness. Choosing to become an MRS Company Partner symbolises an organisation’s desire to support these values within research and, externally, to the wider business world. We believe that the value offered by the Service is unrivalled, and we look forward to welcoming more Company Partners as we approach 2008.”
RDSi is the 250th Company Partner to join the Service. Managing Director Wendy Mitchell comments: “We’re proud to be the 250th organisation to sign up to the MRS Company Partner Service. This is a landmark both for the industry and for us – as we look forward to a future of shared learning opportunities offered by the Service. It is good to know that, by becoming MRS Company Partners, we are actively signalling our support for effective self-regulation and we greatly value the support it is bringing in terms of developing our people’s careers and enhancing our offer to clients.”
