LONDON, October 29, 2007—TNS Healthcare has appointed Mark Duckham as Managing Director of its UK International (UKI) division. In that role, Mr. Duckham will oversee the strategic direction and account development of UKI’s global market research business. He will leverage his more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience to help UKI’s pharmaceutical and biotech clients manage their brands more effectively and optimize the return on their market research investment. "His background spans both UK and worldwide initiatives on the client and agency sides, giving him the 360O perspective to help companies design the most successful global brand strategies. Mark brings a unique combination of research knowledge, ‘big brand’ expertise and healthcare insight to UKI, ensuring he can lead our team in creating the most powerful brand, communications and sales effectiveness solutions for our clients."
"TNS Healthcare’s focus on optimizing clients’ business performance was a strong complement to my branding and communications experience," says Duckham. "I am excited by the opportunity to bring the resources of one of the world’s largest market research companies to bear in helping our customers better connect with their customers—whether physicians, consumers or patients—so they can create the strongest relationships between their stakeholders and their brands. The tangible result will be sustainable gains in prescribing and share."
