TNS Healthcare Names Mark Duckham Managing Director, UK International PDF Print E-mail

LONDON, October 29, 2007—TNS Healthcare has appointed Mark Duckham as Managing Director of its UK International (UKI) division. In that role, Mr. Duckham will oversee the strategic direction and account development of UKI’s global market research business. He will leverage his more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience to help UKI’s pharmaceutical and biotech clients manage their brands more effectively and optimize the return on their market research investment. David Hanlon, as Head of Research, will support Mr. Duckham in leading UKI.

More Than Two Decades of Agency and Client Experience


Mr. Duckham comes to TNS Healthcare from Grey Healthcare UK, where he served as Managing Director and European Client Services Director. In 2006, he led Grey Healthcare UK to its most profitable year ever, with its largest roster of both domestic and international healthcare clients.

Mr. Duckham began his career in the ‘80s, at Sharps/Dorlands/Zetlands Advertising. Over the next 15 years, he served key roles supporting major global brands at several top agencies, including Geers Gross/Publicis, Adze Productions, FCB Bozell Worldwide, DC Interactive and LPB Advertising.

During this time, he also began to establish his credentials in healthcare, serving as the European Director of Consumer Communications for Bausch & Lomb and on the Global Marketing Excellence team at Novartis. In 2002, he moved into healthcare communications full time, taking the helm at Grey.

Mr. Duckham earned an MA with Honors in Classical Greats from Exeter College Oxford and attended the Cranfield School of Management.
