London 14th December 2007: Staff at Lightspeed Research in London are delighted to have raised the impressive sum of £1471.50 at their Christmas party on 7th December.

The sum was raised by a fun auction, selling items kindly donated by both the team and local businesses including Boots, Café Nero, Lush, Odeon Cinemas, Starbucks, The Entertainer, Wagamama and Whittards.

The company offered to match any amount raised by the employees, and has rounded it up to a grand total of £3000. The money will be donated to the 'Make a Wish Foundation'.

Marketing Manager Ralph Risk, who acted as the Chief Auctioneer on the day, says "We are all delighted with the amount of money raised and know that it will be put to good use by this worthy cause. We are very grateful for the generosity of local businesses who gave us some fabulous items to auction."

The staff at Lightspeed Research in London are not new to fund raising. Other activities carried out this year include a Summer Fair, Photo Competition and Rugby World Cup Sweepstakes which raised an additional £300
