Sydney 19th February 2008: Lightspeed Research, the online panel provider, is delighted to announce the appointment of two new members of the regional team. Both will be based in the company’s Sydney office.

Angus Macaskill joins as Vice President of Client Operations. Angus brings over 20 years technical, sales, marketing and management experience gained from companies including MentorVest Partners, Strategic Publishing Group and Fujitsu, as well as his own boutique consultancy. At Lightspeed Research he will be responsible for ensuring the commercial team delivers superb client service to the region’s growing client list. He will take a leading role in identifying new products and services to meet the evolving research needs of the client base. Angus will also be tasked with ensuring great teamwork across country borders.

Most recently head of Projects and Operations for market research and mobile software development firm Gravity, Charlie Winn joins as Panel Operations Director. Charlie brings five years experience from ACNielsen where he gained considerable skills managing panels, ultimately becoming Associate Director of Operations for the company’s Asia Pacific region. His duties at Lightspeed Research will include panel recruitment and retention, incentive management and associated technologies. Charlie will coordinate a multi-lingual care team across the regions four local country panels.

Terry Wiley, Managing Director, Lightspeed Research Asia Pacific says “These two senior appointments will be crucial in helping us expand and extend the operation in the Asia Pacific region in 2008 and beyond. We’re really looking forward to welcoming Angus and Charlie to the team.”
