Brahm PR has been appointed by leading drinks manufacturer and distributer, Global Brands Limited, to handle consumer and trade PR across its entire product range, including flagship brand, VK Vodka Kick.

Brahm will be instigating national campaigns for the vodka specialist’s key brands, which include Corky’s vodka shots and Polish premium vodka, Sobieski. Brahm has also been handed the brief to provide full PR support for Global Brands’ licensed beer brands, Salitos, Carib lager and Viru.

In addition to this the Leeds based agency has been be tasked with raising the corporate profile of Global Brands in the business press, communicating the rapid growth that the company has enjoyed since the successful launch of VK Vodka Kick in 1999.

Global Brands, formerly GBL International, was founded in 1997 by 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2002/3' Steven J Garcia Perez and under his leadership now turns over almost £70million per year. With VK Vodka Kick now available in over 30 countries worldwide, Global Brands is one of the few independent international drinks companies operating today.

Alongside the product support Brahm will also be helping Global maximise the PR value from its significant number of sports and lifestyle sponsorships, which include: T4 on the Beach, Kiss FM, British Superbikes, The Notting Hill Carnival, Wakestock and the MSA British Gravel Rally Championship.
