GfK Automotive are delighted to announce the appointment of Gudrun Schmidberger as Customer Management Production Director. In this newly created position, Schmidberger will focus exclusively on streamlining sampling, data management and delivery processes within their Customer Management division.

Schmidberger joins GfK Automotive from Lorien Research, where she was Client Services Director. With a strong background in both the operational and executive sides of automotive research, Schmidberger has the in-depth experience and knowledge to identify and implement innovative approaches, to fine tune existing services. Schmidberger also has particular strength as an automotive specialist having accumulated fifteen years’ experience of working in the industry, of which ten years have been specialising in customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Schmidberger comments, "There can be a virtual gap between researchers and production teams – between the executive and the operation support within research. With my background and experience from working in both roles, I am well positioned to identify processes that can be streamlined and improved. My aim is to ensure that our GfK Automotive data delivery processes stay second to none and I’m thrilled to be joining this energetic and forward-looking team.”

Adrian Wimbush, Chairman of GfK Automotive, continues, "Gudrun’s highly proactive attitude and in-depth understanding of what is required to manage and deliver data accurately, efficiently and cost effectively will ensure that our client service executives have the very best in streamlined and targeted services. This will free them to specialise even more strongly on generating business-focussed outcomes and insight for our clients. This is a vital role and one that will make a considerable difference to our clients in the speed and sophistication of the projects we deliver, and ensure that we maintain our position at the forefront of Customer Management within the Automotive industry.”
