Continued Momentum Earns Company Recognition Among Top 50 Market Research Firms Nationwide

Compete, Inc., a leading web analytics company and unit of TNS media, today announced that the company was ranked among the Honomichl list of top 50 market research firms across the United States, as published in the 35th annual business report of Marketing News, an American Marketing Association publication. TNS U.S. was also recognized in the number six slot on the list.

Honomichl chose the top 50 market research companies based on their 2007 revenues. Compete, listed at number 43 in 2008 reported US revenues of $14.9 million, up more than 50% over 2006. The company’s rapid growth, which has been nearly 1,000 percent over the past five years, is driven by marketers’ need for online data about their customers and competitors’ engagement, loyalty and online and offline sales.

TNS U.S., a global market insight and information group and major provider of custom research is listed at number six on the Honomichl ranking. The company had 2007 revenue of $379.8 million, up 2.8% over 2006, and its growth rate includes revenue from the 2006 and 2007 acquisitions including Sorensen Associates Inc., Cymfony Inc., Retail Forward Inc., and Financial Services unit of Abt Associates Inc.

The Honomichl Top 50 is a report published by the American Marketing Association (AMA), North America's largest professional marketing association, and Inside Research(R), a one-source authoritative report founded in 1990 by Jack Honomichl, the leading market research industry authority.
