September 1st 2008 - London 

GfK Automotive, a global Leader in Automotive Market Research, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francisco Lopez Ramirez as Managing Director of their UK operation. Lopez Ramirez will report to the Chairman, Adrian Wimbush, and assume day-to-day responsibility for the running of the company.

Lopez Ramirez joins GfK Automotive from automotive intelligence specialists JATO Dynamics, where he was General Manager for Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands, offering an impressive track record of successful business development and client retention during his 12 years working within market research. In his new role, which begins today, 1 September, Lopez Ramirez will take full operational responsibility for GfK Automotive, with a particular focus on Business Development.
