TNS Appoints Global Accounts Director PDF Print E-mail

August 9th 2005. Leading global market information company, TNS, has today announced the appointment of Ms Marie Lee to the newly created position of Director AP Global Accounts. Previously General Manager of TNS’ Makati office in the Philippines, Marie assumed her new Bangkok-based role on August 8th 2005.

Created in line with the company’s strategic focus on strengthening relationships with its global accounts, Marie’s position will see her responsible for global clients with its regional business units that largely located in Bangkok. It is anticipated that Marie’s responsibility will grow to include nurturing a number of other important global and regional clients that are not only based in Bangkok but also Singapore and India.

No stranger to Thailand, Marie’s first position with TNS back in 1993 was in Bangkok where she remained before transferring to TNS’ office in Makati in 1996. Marie was appointed to the position of General Manager of the Makati office in 2003.

Commenting on the appointment, John Smurthwaite, Chairman TNS Asia Pacific said, “We wish Marie and her family the best of success in Bangkok and we look forward to working with her in her new role.”
