Newly launched portal makes research data available to all ORC International clients

ORC AccessPoint™ providing standard information delivery method for all client projects

ORC International has recently launched the latest version of its project portal, ORC AccessPoint™, which is offered as standard on all client projects.? The system enables clients to store and manage all their research material in one central repository, and provides all project managers and stakeholders with a tool from which to monitor survey progress.

ORC AccessPoint™ has a user-friendly format and is built around each client’s specific project requirements. It provides project updates and progress without a need for constant face-to-face, telephone and e-mail contact.

The portal is delivered over a secure website that shows project progress, timetables, survey data and results, which can be viewed by both ORC International project staff, and each client’s own authorised project staff.?

Explaining the benefits of the company’s new portal system, ORC International managing director, Richard Cornelius said:? “For the last five years we’ve been using portals to help manage client projects, so we have a great deal of experience in this area.? And although we recognise that delivery of information via a portal is not a new concept in the research industry, the difference with
ORC AccessPoint™ is that we are now able to offer it as for every client project we undertake.”

Mike Williams, group research advisor at Hanover Housing is already enjoying the benefits of using the new system. While he says it’s too soon to analyse the long-term advantages it will bring to the organisation, he is already looking forward to extending its use in time for their next survey.? “The benefits of using ORC AccessPoint™ far outweigh any system provided by previous suppliers.? We now have so much more control of our data that it not only allows us to pinpoint where any issues lie; it also provides each of our operations directors with access to their own regional data.? I can now manage the data centrally through the portal, while also being able to drill down through the regional elements with the advantage of receiving response rates as soon as they become available.”

ORC International’s developers are currently designing a dynamic reporting module as the next stage in the evolution of ORC AccessPoint™.
