Euromonitor International is pleased to announce it's new Latin America office

Global market intelligence company Euromonitor International announces the opening of its new Latin America office in Santiago, Chile, emphasizing even in these difficult times its faith in the economic growth of the region.

Euromonitor International's new hub will bring the company closer to clients in the Latin American region, and allow for expansion of its already substantial research presence there.

This will bring the number of Euromonitor International's offices worldwide to eight, including company headquarters in London and regional bases in Chicago, China, Singapore, Dubai, South Africa and Eastern Europe.

“Latin America has been a core area for strategic development for many years now, and as our Latin American client base has increased it has become more important for us to have a local presence,” says Rencher. “Chile provides a stable base of operations and the skilled workforce we need to develop our business in Latin America, allowing greater accessibility to the region. We are excited to be here,” he adds.

In recent years consumption levels in countries including Brazil and Chile have increased as a result of higher levels of disposable income.

The developing economies of Latin America have become increasingly important in the global marketplace, both as trade partners to regions such as Asia-Pacific, and as key contributors to growth in areas such as packaged foods, cosmetics & toiletries and consumer finance.
