GfK NOP, a leading provider of global market information and insight, today announced the appointment of Vishal Jhanjee as Business Development Director of GfK HealthCare.

In his new role, Vishal will build upon GfK HealthCare’s expertise in the pharmaceuticals industry and help grow the custom and syndicated research business.

Vishal has more than ten years experience in commercial roles in the healthcare industry, working for global pharmaceutical organisations such as Schering-Plough, and five years market research experience.  

He joins GfK NOP from pharmaceutical and biotech market research company P\S\L research where he was also Business Development Director.

Commenting on Vishal’s appointment, Peter Eichhorn, Managing Director of GfK HealthCare, said: “Vishal’s knowledge of the global healthcare environment and the issues facing pharmaceutical organisations will be a real asset to GfK HealthCare. His strategic marketing expertise at both a local and regional level and insight into primary and specialist care brands will help us to expand the division and our offering to clients.”

Vishal added:

Vishal is based in GfK NOP’s London headquarters in Blackfriars and will be working across the GfK global network.
