Independent Consultants Group to Exhibit and Speak at Insight 2005
On 25th & 26th October the Independent Consultants Group (ICG) will be exhibiting at the Insight 2005 show at Earls Court, London, demonstrating to buyers of market research how independent consultants can offer unique benefits and a contemporary approach to market research. Two ICG members will also be presenting sessions at the Insight 2005 Conference.
ICG has secured one of the largest exhibition stands at the Insight show, spanning 52.5 sq metres, and will have over 30 consultancies from a wide range fields and disciplines offering advice to conference visitors. Says Tim Williams, Chairman of the ICG, “The ICG has had a significant presence at Insight for the last three years and we are excited to be supporting the show again this year. Having independents represented among the larger agencies offers visitors a more balanced view of how market research can be approached.” There will be ICG members present at Insight who are experts in fields such as kids, consumer, technology, financial, travel, qualitative, quantitative, omnibus and more.
As well, two ICG members will be presenting papers at the Insight conference – Lucie Wernicke will be presenting on Tuesday 25 October at 11:30, together with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, on how to successfully conduct a research project which deals with sensitive issues (in this case, people’s ethical behaviour at work), and the real benefits that this gave to the client. Peter Hutton will be speaking on Wednesday 26 October at 12:30pm on ‘Creating true value from your organisation's brand’, by looking at trends in business thinking that have driven market research and the context in which research is carried out. Hutton will also be speaking about “brand energy”, what it is and how to use research to understand it and help to harness it.
