Market research executives make sure the right questions are asked of the right people, to ensure that the research undertaken is effective and meets the original research objectives. They are normally contracted to work a 35 hour week, although extra hours, evening and weekend work is sometimes required to meet tight deadlines. Most work is office based unless you take the route of a qualitative researcher in which case a fair bit of traveling is required, for example traveling to conduct depth interviews or group discussions.

In the UK salaries generally range from £15,000 for newly-qualified market research executives (normally graduates), to £45,000 or more for senior market research executives.

If you require further information related to market research jobs, then how about posting your question on our market research forum? It is very easy to use, it can be accessed by clicking here: forum - all you need to do is select your topic area and then click on post new topic. You will be asked for your email address but this will not appear on the site and will not be passed onto anyone else.
