DJS Research Ltd is currently conducting a piece of research to examine consumer attitudes towards the 2012 hosepipe ban. In the main the research will cover the following topics:

- Likelihood to comply with the water shortage ban

- Whether customers would speak to their water company if they knew of a neighbour who was ignoring the hosepipe ban

- What consumers think about water companies buying and selling water off each other
