US-based research and consulting firm The Marketing Workshop, Inc. has announced the hiring of Howard “Bud” Sanders to the position of Director, Marketing Sciences.

Sanders join's the firm with research and analytic experience acquired from working as the Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics, Georgia Pacific consumer Products.

Prior to his time with Georgia Pacific, Sanders honed his analytic expertise with TNS as Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics and Design.

In these roles, Sanders gained experience supporting various marketing and research analytic initiatives, including pricing & service bundling research, consumer segmentation, target marketing, and market mix optimization.

Sanders joins the Marketing Sciences department of the firm, where he will support a wide variety of analytic research across a broad array of industries.

“We are very pleased to have Bud join the Marketing Workshop team” said, Scott Layne, President.  “Having experience on both the client and research supplier sides of the business, Bud brings a unique perspective on how best to apply advanced analytics to solve business issues as well as develop new opportunities”.

Sanders is a graduate of the Georgia Tech, where he earned a MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior. In addition, Sanders earned a Masters in Applied Statistics from Bowling Green State University and a B.S. in Mathematics.
