to help drive strategic focus on Telecoms, Media, Tech & Entertainment

Harris Interactive UK today announced the appointment of senior research professional Lee Langford to the role of Research Director, Telecoms, Media, Tech & Entertainment (TMTE), bringing over 20 years’ research experience to the business.

Langford joins Harris from Ipsos, previously Synovate, where he was a Senior Director in the firm’s Technology team with responsibility for a mix of strategic ad hoc and tracking clients across the full spectrum of TMTE. His impressive track record also includes a range of senior positions at BMRB, Total Research and TRBI, encompassing commercial, research and team management.

Langford’s new role at Harris will continue to focus on the TMTE sector, building on both Harris’ and Langford’s existing experience and strengths in the sector.  He will have a hands-on client/delivery role as well as making a significant contribution to staff development and strategic initiatives at Harris.

Pete Cooke, Head of TMTE at Harris Interactive, commented:
“I’m delighted to welcome such a top drawer professional to the company. Lee’s genuine passion for TMTE and impressive track record in the sector will be of huge benefit to our clients and help us to continue to build on our core strengths.”

Commenting on his new role, Langford said:
“I’m excited to be joining Harris at this interesting time in the company’s development. There’s a great fit between my own expertise and aspirations and those of Harris.  This hands-on role across TMTE and Harris’ full range of services will enable me to make a strong contribution to clients and the business as a whole.”
