Rebrands, relocates and opens new research studio in the south Midlands.

‘Face to face’ fieldwork expert, UKFS, becomes PeoplePeople UK; new ‘The People Place’ viewing studio opens in Leamington Spa to cater for outside London research demand.

PeoplePeople UK is the new name for UK Fieldwork Services (UKFS), the specialist face-to-face fieldwork agency which is part of the MMR Group. As part of the name change and rebrand, comes the move to a new South central location and the opening of ‘The People Place’, a new, on-site research space open to all quantitative and qualitative research providers.

PeoplePeople UK will build on its reputation as leaders in face-to-face fieldwork across the UK. With an experienced project management team able to deliver the most complex logistical fieldwork; ranging from packaging and shelf display tests to high prep food tasting.

The People Place offers two separate studios or a combined studio space for larger workshops and quantitative testing. Renowned for executing fieldwork in the FMCG sectors; personal care, homecare, food and drink; the facility features a test kitchen equipped for high preparation food testing, staffed by The People Place’s food hygiene-qualified staff. Other facilities include Wi-Fi access, ‘picture in picture’ and playback viewing, client breakout rooms and full audio visual equipment.

“As the closest Midlands viewing facility to London -- just over an hour by train from London Marylebone and just over an hour outside the M25 -- we offer an alternative location for the market research community seeking a wider UK sample,” says Jeanette MacDonald, head of PeoplePeople UK. “Our core skill is our ability to find and extract the best from the people our clients really want to meet; hence we wanted to represent this in our company name. Our area of fieldwork is becoming increasingly complex and less commoditised; now we have even more to offer customers by offering fieldwork design and a viewing facility from under one roof.”

The £200,000 investment in creating The People Place is the latest development in PeoplePeople UK’s growth strategy.
