Brahm is delighted to be listed amongst the region’s most environmentally friendly companies, according to the Yorkshire and Humber Environment Index 2005 (YHEI).
The only communications agency to feature, Brahm was ranked at 61 in the top 100 companies and rose to 6th in the General Services category - up 9 places compared to last year’s listing.
The YHEI features regional results as part of the national Business In The Community Environment Index, established to enable responsible companies to benchmark the impact they have on the environment. The league table is compiled by assessing how well companies manage their impact and through measuring tangible improvements.
Julie Hanson, joint managing director at Brahm said, “The whole company is responsible for ensuring that Brahm’s impact on the environment is kept to a minimum, be it through recycling, reducing paper wastage or simply turning off lights in empty rooms. It’s amazing how the small things can add up. We are delighted to see that our efforts are working and hope to continue to improve our performance over the next twelve months.”
Brahm is named alongside organisations including: ASDA Stores; Yorkshire Water; Yorkshire Forward; and Bupa Care Services.
