To Ukrainians, Says Poll

The economy and job security remain the two issues of greatest importance to Ukrainians in the upcoming parliamentary elections in October according to a poll conducted by GfK NOP.

The survey was conducted from August 20th to September 1st.  A total of 2,967 interviews were conducted nationally for the poll.

In addition, support of the political parties remains consistent with other recent polls.  The Party of Regions holds the largest support at 24%, the United Opposition is at 17%, UDAR is at 12%, the Communist Party is at 8%, Svoboda is at 3%, and 24% remain undecided at this time.

Among favorability ratings, Vitali Klitchko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and Victor Yanukovich rate the highest at 55%, 37% and 35% respectfully.  Other key issues to voters identified in the poll include establishing stability and law and order.

Ukraine will hold parliamentary elections on October 28, 2012.
