Following the release of the results of the MRS Advanced Certificate by the Market Research Society, the world’s leading market research association, DJS Research Ltd are pleased to announce that Matt Bristow, Laura Crowe, Alex McCluckie and Alex Noden have all successfully completed the course. In addition, Laura Crowe and Alex Noden both achieved merits in the assignment portion of the qualification.
The MRS states that the qualification ‘provides candidates with a practical grounding in the principles and techniques which underpin effective research’ and completion of the course allows researchers to define and understand research objectives, design appropriate solutions to those problems, select the techniques appropriate for collecting data related to those problems and provide recommendations based on research outcomes to inform the successful navigation of the research problem posed initially.
Kate Slater, who took the lead in training and mentoring the four researchers, was very happy with the results:
“Obviously, it’s a fantastic achievement for all four of them, and everyone at DJS is really pleased for them. I think there were a few nerves flying round, for the last few days – but in the end everything has turned out perfectly and Laura, Alex, Matt and Alex can all move forward in their careers and continue to add to their experience; which is already very respectable for people who have only been in the industry for a year or so. Well done to them all once again!”
DJS Research Ltd is committed to continued professional development, and this year’s intake of graduates will be undertaking the Advanced Certificate in 2013 – led by Matt Bristow, who will utilise his own experience to mentor the next group of researchers.
Laura Crowe and Alex McCluckie are both members of the DJS Research Graduate Recruitment Scheme, of which the completion of the MRS Advanced Certificate is a key component. If you feel you have what it takes to join DJS, feel free to view the company’s recruitment page, available here .
