Synovate announces new head of Solutions' Team in the Americas
NEW YORK — Global market research company Synovate has announced the addition of Joel Rubinson as Senior Vice President and Director of Solutions.
Rubinson will oversee all of Synovate's global solutions including TME, PinPoint, BrandVision and AdCheck as well as Synovate's tactical solutions such as ViewsCast and Omnibus programs. He will also be responsible for the regional management of Synovate's Decision Systems team.
Rubinson most recently served as Managing Director of Advanced Research for Vivaldi and Partners. Prior to that, he was the Chief Research Officer and Head of Product Management/Development for over 20 years at The NPD Group. While there, Rubinson helped create many advanced analytics for clients, most notably Brand Builder, one of the leading brand equity modeling systems used by many leading companies. Rubinson also previously led the Technical Research Services function at Lever Brothers.

Rubinson is an expert in category management, new product sales forecasting, market structure and segmentation, tracking, customer relationship marketing, and many research methodologies.
As a sought after speaker and lecturer, Rubinson has taught the official American Marketing Association advanced tutorial on consumer loyalty, and spoken at numerous AMA and ARF conferences. He has lectured at Columbia University, NYU, Wharton, Amos Tuck School, and University of Rochester, among others.
Rubinson has an MBA in statistics and economics from the University of Chicago, where he studied under three Nobel Prize winners, and a BS in quantitative methods from New York University.
