Marketing Sciences Continues Expansion With Three New Hires PDF Print E-mail

Marketing Sciences, an agency specialising in quantitative, qualitative, digital and sensory market research, has appointed Richard Snoxell as a research director within its technology team, continuing its expansion in response to strong client demand.  Richard is joined by Jenny Guerreri who will be research manager in the product testing team and Nick Rafferty, a senior data analyst.

Richard strengthens a growing technology team as the company responds to increasing demand for more digital insight in a rapidly evolving marketplace.  Formerly of Nokia, Richard brings eight years’ experience of the telecoms industry to his new role.  Prior to his global role at Nokia he also held positions at T-Mobile International, TNS, GfK NOP and Research International.

Ian Ralph, head of technology at Marketing Sciences, said: “Richard has a strong background in technology research based on his six years at Nokia where he helped launch the Lumia range of smartphones. Richard will be a huge asset and boost to what is already a strong technology team offering both quantitative and qualitative research.

“The retail landscape is evolving faster than ever before because of advances in technology and our clients are increasingly asking us for insight into the sector.  With Richard’s experience we can look to grow our technology offer further and drive cross-selling to our FMCG and retail clients.”

Richard joins Marketing Sciences during a period of significant expansion, with the firm reporting 30% turnover growth in the first quarter of the 2013 / 2014 financial year compared to the same period last year. 

Richard is joined this month by Jenny Guerreri, research manager within the product testing team.  Previously at SPA Future Thinking, Jenny brings experience of the consumer and packaging sectors to the team.  Marketing Sciences has also taken on Nick Rafferty, formerly of AC Nielsen, as a senior data analyst to boost its in house data processing team.
