London, UK – 19th November, 2013: Emily Kettle, Managing Director of research agency, Facts International, has been named Bronze winner in the Executive of the Year category at the 10th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honours for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organisations they run. All individuals and organisations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Kettle became Managing Director of Facts International at just 35 and currently manages a team of over 3,000 in the UK. Kettle has also managed several new initiatives including the launch of a new office in Sydney and a major new recruitment drive.
Kettle, who was nominated for the award secretly by a colleague, commented: “I was surprised and delighted just to be named a finalist, but to actually win an award is incredible. This is not only recognition for me, but also for Facts International which has been recognised internationally as a company in which women can thrive in their careers.”
“For 10 years we have been recognising the achievements of women in the workplace, and this year’s nominations were the most impressive class the judges have ever reviewed,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “We congratulate all of this year’s winners for their achievements.”
Crispin Beale, CEO of Facts International comments: “Emily has embraced her role as Managing Director and her achievements have been fantastic, so it came as no surprise to me that Emily was named a winner in the Stevie Awards. Her drive to develop and grow the business, while delivering excellence in customer service, makes her a real asset to the Facts business, our customers and the team.”
