FreshMinds won the award for Financial Research at the Market Research Society Awards 2013. The winning project was a collaborative effort between growth and innovation consultancy, FreshMinds, and private bank, Investec, to develop an innovative new banking proposition.
Despite stiff competition from other finalists, the FreshMinds entry was considered to have had greatest value to the client. FreshMinds was also singled out by the judges for its ability to reach and engaged niche audiences.
The winning project, ‘Embarking on a Voyage of Discovery’, detailed Investec’s work with FreshMinds, crafting a market-leading, premium financial product. FreshMinds assisted Investec in the product development process, first helping them gain a richer understanding of the High Net Worth market and then testing the appeal of product constructs with prospective customers. Guided by this in-depth insight, Investec and FreshMinds worked together to design Voyage by Investec, a highly innovative financial proposition, that’s taken the market by storm and outperformed all initial expectations.
