Irish mobile marketing company Brandtone, which works for leading brands in fast-growth markets, has appointed Dervilla Mullan to oversee the development of its proprietary technology.
In her role as Chief Product Officer, Mullan will drive innovation to create increasingly sophisticated tools for personalised brand building and brand promotion in the developing and emerging markets.
She will also be responsible for co-ordinating Brandtone’s presence at Mobile World Congress this year, where the company will be unveiling new technologies to fuel its work with major brands in 2014.
Mullan joined Brandtone on 6th January from Eircom, where she was Director of Online & TV, leading their digital strategy. There she was accountable for developing Eircom’s TV service and building a digital operating model which spanned advertising, social, mobile, user experience, analytics and development.
She brings with her 18 years of experience in the Internet and Communications sectors, specialising in digital content, e-commerce and self-service operations.
The hire follows a period of rapid growth for Brandtone, including expansion into six new markets within the past six months, and the creation of 29 jobs based in Dublin to support R&D activity.
