ICM Announces Two Board Promotions PDF Print E-mail

ICM has appointed Iain Carruthers, Head of Qualitative Research, to the Board of Directors and given existing Director Alex Knight the wider remit of Insight Division Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

In his new position as a Director, Iain will continue to lead the strategy development of the qualitative offering, but will also take on a broader role that includes managing the ICM brand and people development. Iain joined ICM in January 2013.

Alex retains overall responsibility for ICM’s financial performance, as well as playing a more active role in the operational and commercial processes for both ICM Direct and ICM Research. Alex joined ICM in July 2012.

Andrew Wiseman, Managing Director of ICM Group, said: “Both Iain and Alex have made a significant and valuable contribution to the business during their time at ICM. I’m delighted that Iain has joined the Board of Directors and to have extended Alex’s remit.”

Recognising talent from across the business, ICM has made five other promotions:

             Richard Johnston takes up the newly-created role of Head of Finance

             Mona Blaute is promoted to Production Director

             Peter Cornick and Sarah Nitting-Fullin are both promoted to Associate Director

             Liina Tohv is promoted to Senior Research Executive in the Omnibus team.

ICM is also pleased to announce the appointment of Seelin Ho as Research Executive. Rebecca Hitchmough, who has a Master’s degree in Research Methods, and Donna Quinn, who has a degree in Politics and Parliamentary Studies are the first two recruits to ICM’s Academy programme this year.

Andrew Wiseman added: “It’s always a delight to promote people from within the business. Being able to do so is a testament not only to their talent, but to our people development programme, which now includes the Academy specifically designed for graduates entering the market research profession. Those who have been promoted, and our new recruits, will be crucial to our continued growth this year and I look forward to watching each of them develop their career within the ICM Group.”
