Synovate boosts Business Consulting team in Greater China

HONG KONG — Synovate, a top ten global research company, today announced the appointment of Florence Chiang to the new position of Business Group Director and Head of Synovate Business Consulting in Taiwan.

Synovate Business Consulting is the company's specialist business intelligence division. The Taiwan office opened in early March 2006, expanding the Business Consulting footprint to 14 offices across the region.

Damien Duhamel, Managing Director of Synovate Business Consulting said the appointment of Ms Chiang was a good move for the group and its clients.

"The opening of our Taiwan office means that Business Consulting has superior Greater China coverage. We have great opportunities in Taiwan and Florence is uniquely placed to drive rapid growth.

"She has more than 12 years of experience in consulting and multinational companies and an excellent understanding of the Taiwan business world. Florence is well positioned to help our clients grow their businesses and we are delighted to have her on the team," he said.

Ms Chiang joins Synovate from KPMG Taiwan where she was Managing Consultant in charge of Business Strategy and HR Consulting, a role which often took her across China implementing business strategy. Prior to KPMG she held senior roles with Fortune 500 companies in Taiwan, including Texas Instruments, ICI and Novartis.

Ms Chiang also taught Management classes at the leading Taiwan Business School of Yuan-Ze University. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Chung Yuan University and a Master of Arts from the University of Leeds.
