With the sun shining and temperatures soaring to 23 degrees, Facts International celebrated their 30th year of growth, innovation and success in the market research industry.
With more than 150 staff and guests in attendance, the day’s festivities began with Founder, Barbara Lee, recounting the story of Facts International’s beginning on April 15th 1985 in a single office at the Willesborough Industrial Park. Talking at length, Barbara Lee took the opportunity to highlight how proud she was to see the company flourish in the following 30 years.
Speeches continued with Chairman, Nick Lamb’s stories around the Chime Communications’ acquisition, coaxing Managing Director Emily Kettle to return to Facts International and persuading CEO Crispin Beale to take the helm.
Crispin rounded off the speeches with praise for the team on all their hard work and commitment and further recognition for the 2014 MRS Best Field Force Award win, stating that “winning the inaugural award was one of the company’s proudest moments to date”.
Barbara Palmer, Facts International’s longest serving employee received a special award recognising her loyalty and service since 1985, later joining Founder Barbara Lee for the cutting of the specially commissioned birthday cake.
The birthday celebration marked the start of a series of related activities planned across the coming year, with fundraising for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust being announced after the speeches in the form of the Facts 30/30 Relay Challenge.
Messages poured in across the day from partner agencies, contacts and local business alike with “Happy Birthday Facts International” from the IQCS and Kent 2020 Vision Live and “Congratulations on 30 years” from Locate in Kent .
All staff took part in the celebrations and a fabulous day was enjoyed by all.
