Following stiff competition from 300 nominees across 13 countries, Jo Brockhurst, Facts International’s Associate Director Client Services Australia, is awarded a bronze in the prestigious international Stevie Awards for Business.
In September 2013 Jo was named the face of Women in Research (WIRe) in Australia and regularly works with the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) at conferences and exhibitions.
More than 60 executives from around the globe were involved in the 2015 Asia-Pacific judging and with nominees from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia, it was a hard fought competition.
In only its second year, the Stevie Awards Asia-Pacific saw winners from global organisations such as DHL, Qantas, Telstra and Ford. On hearing the news Jo stated “I’m over the moon, Woman of the Year is a massive category, I wouldn’t have dreamed of getting a bronze against such icons of business.”
Managing Director Emily Kettle was delighted to hear of Jo’s bronze award noting “This is fantastic news; Jo has only been operating out of our office in Sydney, Australia for 2 years. She has made a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike and I could not be more pleased to see Jo getting the recognition she deserves."
