Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex is set to visit Market Research Society (MRS) Best Field Force winner Facts International as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

Facts International – the UK’s leading field research provider and part of the Chime Insight and Engagement (CIE) Group – has today announced a visit from Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex as part of their planned activities marking 30 years of market research excellence.

The visit – which will mark an important milestone in the history of the company – will take place at the Facts Centre, Ashford, with The Countess touring the buildings of the research provider and meeting many members of staff, before joining a special reception with Facts’ employees and clients.     

The reception will bring together a wide range of dignitaries and representatives from across the county, demonstrating Facts International’s links with local schools, colleges, councils and the business community.

As the longest standing business within Chime Insight and Engagement Group, Facts International is the first to receive the accolade of a Royal visit.

Facts International is the winner of the MRS Best Field Force Award 2014, which celebrates the unsung heroes of research and recognises their essential contributions to the market research sector. The award recognised Facts’ investment in people and its commitment to providing excellent ongoing training and development – including a recently adopted apprenticeship scheme – which has been vital for driving employee retention and business growth over the last 30 years. The company – which employs staff from across Kent and was a finalist in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards – has enjoyed strong financial growth in recent years and has moved to become one of the top ten insight groups in the UK.
