Strive, the insight activation agency, has launched today with two former Incite directors Paul Thomas and David Walker at the helm.

Thomas and Walker are industry-leading researchers with years of strategic experience gained with clients such as Microsoft, BT and Vodafone. They co-founded the company with Giuseppe Tonolini, an accomplished brand marketer and researcher with the likes of BP, Whirlpool, Kodak and Carlsberg, to combine over 70 years’ experience.
The new agency, based in Waterloo, was formed to solve a fundamental problem facing the market research industry, as Paul Thomas explains:
“Research agencies and consultancies alike are still only delivering insights, whereas brands nowadays need actionable next steps to present to the C-suite. Insight departments are under increased pressure from all corners to find a way forward and inspire their business, not explanation of what’s already happened - we set up Strive to deliver this.”

Thomas continues: “Often businesses commission expensive new primary research as a way of solving problems. But many of the answers may already exist within the organisation, all that’s required is the skill to identify them. We use that existing knowledge to make our new research work harder. We want to focus more on “the unknowns” to unearth new opportunities.”
Co-founder David Walker adds: “Our aim is to use insight to inspire positive action within businesses. We provide real, practical solutions and the tools to help businesses to start working on the next step immediately.”
“Put simply; our mission is to move beyond the understanding of insights into helping clients to find new opportunities and make them happen in their business.”

Strive is already working with clients in the lifestyle and financial sectors and is looking forward to high demand for its specialist services that complete the missing link for clients between insights and business action.
