Firefish, leading independent insight and strategy consultancy, has appointed Lisa Hill as Managing Director for its UK qualitative business.  Lisa joins from brand consultancy Lambie-Nairn, where she was Managing Director from 2010 and responsible for the London, Munich and Prague offices.  She brings a wealth of branding experience across a broad range of categories including FMCG, technology, media, finance, travel and retail, for brands as diverse as Apple, NatWest, the BBC and Coca-Cola.

Lisa will be responsible for leading and developing Firefish’s core qualitative business, drawing on her considerable experience in developing key client relationships, pitching for new business and team leadership.

Commenting on her new role, she said “After spending over 20 years working in branding consultancies, I was looking for a new challenge where I could bring my experience and continue to learn and develop. Genuine consumer insight and understanding of people and culture build the most strategic and successful brands, and I’m looking forward to focussing on this within a research consultancy. Firefish have long-standing international client relationships across multiple sectors and their work, interesting techniques and their fresh, independent spirit is compelling. I’m looking forward to being part of the team and its continued success.”

Jem Fawcus, Firefish Global CEO and Founder added, “We are thrilled to be bringing in Lisa to lead the team.  Her drive and passion for understanding clients’ businesses and helping solve their problems really stood out, as did her strong leadership qualities and commercial nous.  Her experience in branding will add to the team’s ability to deliver the strong, strategic insight our clients expect and we are all excited about this new phase of development for our qualitative business.”
