PFIZER UK CHOOSES TNS HEALTHCARE AS ITS SALES INFORMATION PROVIDER

August 30, 2006. London, UK. TNS Healthcare, a leading global market information provider, announced today that it has been chosen to serve as Pfizer’s sales information provider in the UK.  TNS Healthcare will provide Pfizer with monthly Transact SRi sales data, offering insights into trends at a GP practice-level to support national and local sales strategies, track brand performance and measure and reward sales effectiveness. Following a detailed review process, Pfizer selected TNS Healthcare’s services based on their innovation, technical support and client service excellence.

TNS Healthcare’s ability to deliver timely practice-level insights using advanced modelling techniques also played a key role in Pfizer’s decision.  “Our vision for our UK sales force is to be the most effective in the industry,” says Philip Watts, Sales Director at Pfizer.  “To achieve this goal, we will need the best tools available.  One critical tool of our trade is accurate sales data.”

Dorothy Knightley, Managing Director of TNS Healthcare in the UK was also enthusiastic about the partnership, saying, “We are delighted Pfizer chose TNS Healthcare as its sales information provider.  The strength of our team and of our service clearly drove the decision.  We remain committed to providing continued product and technical innovation to support Pfizer, and all of our customers, in achieving their sales objectives.

“Transact SRi, the service we are providing to Pfizer, is the most comprehensive and detailed information available to pharmaceutical sales forces.  It provides practice-level insights through advanced modelling that enables pharmaceutical companies to gain a deep understanding of their key customers, as well as to identify and act on growth opportunities.  In addition, because it is both timely and flexible, it can meet the fast-changing needs of today’s dynamic pharmaceutical environment.”
