2008 The Management Board of GfK notes the announcement released by the WPP Group plc (“WPP”) at 4pm this afternoon, in which WPP confirmed the posting of the Offer Document in relation to their unsolicited offer for Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (“TNS”). GfK is continuing to actively pursue an all-cash offer for TNS and discussions in relation to this possible offer are progressing positively. GfK therefore urges TNS shareholders to take no action in relation to WPP’s offer for TNS at this time. GfK reiterates that no assurance can be given that an offer will be made. A further announcement will be made when appropriate.
