Standard Deviation, as explained by DJS Research Ltd

Standard deviation is a commonly used measurement of variability or diversity used in statistics and probability theory. It illustrates the degree of variation or dispersion from the mean average or expected value. A low standard deviation is indicative of data points which are very close to the mean average, whereas high standard deviation shows data which are spread out over a larger range of values.
