Demand for robots around the home is on the rise |

UK Consumers are increasingly interested in robotic devices to help them out around the home. New research has revealed that interest in robot household appliance has increased by up to 1671% in the last 5 years.
The research from idealo.co.uk shows that 1 in 10 consumers browsing for a vacuum cleaner is interested in a robotic model, and 1 in 6 looking to buy a lawn mower will consider a robot over a conventional appliance, despite the much higher price tag. 
Robot vacuum cleaners now account for 10% of the entire demand in the vacuum cleaner category. Robotic lawn mowers fare even better, as they now make up 16% of the demand amongst all lawn mowers. Source: idealo.co.uk
