MRG - Media Research Group We can now announce the results of the election for the 2006-7 committee. After the election it was announced that the current Chair, Roger Gane, decided reluctantly that he was unable to devote the required time to the role for the second year of his term. He has therefore resigned and leaves the committee. As a result nine rather than eight members were elected from the sixteen candidates to bring the committee to full strength. At the first meeting of the new committee Hugh Johnson (of the Huge Organisation!) was unanimously elected as the new Chair for the 2006-7 year. (The normal cycle of the chair being elected for two years will continue from next year). The other successful candidates and their portfolios are: Alan Higgs - GfK NOP Social
