career in survey programming - Market Research Forum

hi this is prashant, i recently joined a company as jr.survey programmer,i'm btech and completed it this year itself.i'm bit confused what the future holds for me by being in the same field.....the problem is that i don't see there is much programming to b precise hard core coding is involved in it.....so if i continue working in the same field i don't think i can grow that mch as the developers do by being in software field......so plzz help me and guide me what shuld i do?????shuld i continue working in the same field or start looking for other options in s/w field.....and tell me what's the growth graph is there in this field and how mch package one can ask for after 2 or 3 years working in the same field......what r the companies in which one can apply after having xperience here???
