Dear members,

I would really appreciate it if you could give me help or some guidelines regarding a presentation i have to give during a job interview next wednesday the 25th of April 2012.

I have been asked to give a 10 minute presentation on the following topic:

"The role of market research in effective brand development."

This is for a junior research position at a market research and advertising company. I am having trouble formulating the presentation structure, what to incude in each slide and basically hw to approach the topic! I comefrom a social research background so i am not really familiar with market research techniques and would be really gratefull if you could offer me your help!

When you develop a brand the most important thing that you must have in mind is to target it to a specific kind of customers.
For this you have to make a market research to determine your target customers in the first time and after another one to distinguish their unique characteristics. According to this data you will create your brand to fit exactly to your target customers.
From here you can develop the subject but basically this is the idea.
