No Response 14 Years, 2 Months ago

Good Day,
Im am in the process of compililing a business plan for a financial services company. The business will be signing agreements
with employers to offer financial services on a payroll deducted method.
I compiled a questionnaire to send to suitable employers to elicit valuable information regarding their willingness to participate.
I phoned 10 suitable candidates to participate in my market research, but not one of them sent the questionnaires back. I sent the questionnaires via email after I have asked them
for their permission to send the questionnaire. After two weeks I phoned all 10 participants to ask them whether they have recieved the questionnaire and all 10 replied with "I was so busy".
How should I approach this differently to elicit the needed information?
Note: I though of making appointments with suitable candidates to interview them in person at their place of work.

Hi,
Since I posted my topic on Monday, I have made some progress. I gave my problem some thought and decided to make appointments with some employers to pitch my business idea to get their views(feedback) on it and to make a sale at the end of the day. I am planning on sitting with them(person - to - person) and to discuss my plan and their willingness / grievances. Hope it works.
My Kindest Regards,
William

Thanks for sharing your positive marketing responses. Personally, I am all for taking the Direct and Hardcore approach to marketing and branding.

Hi,
Just wanted to share the newest. I had a formal appointment with an employer and had a proper oppurtunity for half an hour to sell my product, and ellicit wonderful, valuable information from them. Really helps to contact your client directly and setting up an appointment. I must also say that I have noted that people are more rude over the phone(tough guy) than in real life.
Regards,
William
