Is it about secondary market research or primary research?
Qualitative or quantitative research?
Etc...
Just bear in mind than forums, blogs, social media platforms are sometimes not objective enough to give you relevant findings.

There are many ways to market research such as Blogs and Forums commenting. You can even check social networking sites. You can also do directories submission and yahoo answering, linkdin, Twitter etc. Quantity in not important Quality is more important.
