Sales Among Hispanics Expected to Grow Six Percent

“This holiday season Hispanic shoppers can make the difference between a ‘Feliz’ (happy) and ‘Feria’ (fair) ‘Navidad’ for retailers,” noted Robert Passikoff, founder and president of Brand Keys, Inc., of the New York City-based brand loyalty and customer engagement research consultancy. Brand Keys surveyed 2,417 Hispanic consumers in its 20th annual national holiday shopping survey.

Grocery Market Contracts In Historic First

The latest grocery share figures from Kantar Worldpanel, published today for the 12 weeks ending 9 November 2014, show that for the first time since Kantar Worldpanel records began in 1994 the British grocery market has fallen into decline, with sales down 0.2% compared with this time last year.

Welcome to the industry, now get the hell out!

It’s 2011 and there I am, mug of tea at the ready, laptop open, ready to write a blog post. Although relatively new to the market research industry, this was a rather familiar setting for me; poised to let rip with my latest article that will glue the industry to their computers, marvelling in awe at the thought-provoking insight I am about to provide. Funny thing is, just as I am about to put (virtual) pen to paper an odd thing happens – doubt. Indeed, for the younger me at least, the ideas were never the problem – I have a whole notebook that is testament to that.
